AMES, Iowa – March 11, 2026 – Tell us what you think about a planned bridge replacement on US 34 over Bear Creek and the CPKC 4.2 miles west of County Road H35 in Wapello County.
Construction is scheduled to begin spring 2028.
Traffic will be detoured during construction. The proposed detour would follow County Road T61, Iowa 137 and US 63/Iowa 163. Access to properties will be maintained.
