AMES, Iowa – March 11, 2026 – Tell us what you think about the proposed culvert replacement on U.S. 59 near Allendorf in Osceola County.
Improvements include replacing the existing box culvert with a new box culvert.
Construction will take place starting in the summer of 2027 and be completed by the end of 2027.
U.S. 59 will be closed during construction and an offsite detour will be utilized. The detour will likely use the following routes:
- Iowa 9
- Iowa 60
- County Road A22
