AMES, Iowa – March 20, 2026 – Tell us what you think about proposed bridge replacements at I-80/U.S. 63 Interchange near Malcom.
Changes include:
- Replace with new 54’ wide bridges on I-80 over U.S. 63
- Eastbound lanes, including the new bridge, will be shifted south
During construction, traffic will be maintained. Construction is expected to start fall of 2028 and end fall of 2031.

Location: Malcom Auditorium, 212 Main St. Malcom, Iowa 50157
Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our staff. There will be no formal presentation.
