AMES, Iowa – April 21, 2026 – Tell us what you think about proposed improvements to Iowa 9 from East of the Des Moines River Bridge to East of the Brown Creek Bridge in Estherville.
Changes include:
- Pavement replacement
- City-owned sanitary and water main utility replacement
Project staging is under development. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2028 and will be a multiyear project.

When: Tuesday April 28, 2026, anytime between 5 and 7 p.m.

Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our staff. There will be no formal presentation.
