AMES, Iowa – June 12, 2026 – Tell us what you think about the proposed construction of a new roundabout at the U.S. 69 and Iowa 210 intersection in Story County.

Changes include:

  • Replacing the four-way stop-controlled intersection with a single-lane roundabout.

During construction, traffic will be maintained on U.S. 69. There will be a temporary signal and one lane of travel at a time through the construction area. Traffic on Iowa 210 will be detoured for the entire construction period using 560th Ave, 320th St/First St, and 510th Ave/Linn St. Construction is expected to start in 2028.
