MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – June 26, 2026 – The Marshalltown Driver License Service Center at 3700 South Center Street, Marshalltown, Iowa, which was previously scheduled to close today (Friday, June 26), is currently open. This location will be permanently closed at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, so staff can prepare for the move to a new location.
On Monday, July 6, the Marshalltown Driver License Service Center will open at its new location at 704 May Street. This location is more centralized as part of the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) ongoing commitment to operational excellence and efficient use of state resources.
