AMES, Iowa – July 22, 2026 – Tell us what you think about the proposed bridge replacement on Iowa 24 over Goddard Creek in rural Winneshiek County.
Proposed improvements include:
- Removal and replacement of the existing bridge.
- Reconstruct approach pavement.
- Replace guardrail.
Traffic will be detoured using 295th Avenue, 147th Street, and County Road W14. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2029 and end in the fall of 2029.
