AMES, Iowa – July 29, 2026 – Tell us what you think about the proposed bridge removal and pipe culvert placement on Iowa 10 over Dry Creek in Hawarden in Sioux County.
Improvements include replacing the existing bridge with a new pipe culvert.
Construction will take place during 2028.
Iowa 10 will be closed during construction and an offsite detour will be utilized. The detour will likely use the following routes:
- 10th Street
- Buchanan Avenue
- 23rd Street
