SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Aug. 3, 2026 — Drivers on the U.S. 77/Siouxland Veterans Memorial Bridge over the Missouri River between Sioux City, Iowa, and South Sioux City, Nebraska, should plan for daily single outside lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, through Saturday, Aug. 15, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation's Sioux City construction office.

Crews need to close the outside lanes and shoulder of the roadway so they can conduct bridge inspections. The sidewalk will stay open during the project.
