AMES, Iowa – Oct. 20, 2026 – Learn about the three planned bridge replacements on Iowa 2 in Fremont County.
Bridge replacement locations:
- 1.7 miles east of East Junction of US 275
- Overflow bridges east and west of the West Nishnabotna River
Construction Timing and Traffic Impacts
Construction for all three bridges is expected to take place in 2028.
During the bridge replacements, traffic will be detoured using 250th Street and 370th Avenue.
