Hello IaRTN Users,
I have had a large number of error messages from shared usernames the past few months. Please do not share your SBC account information. If you lose track of who is using your NTRIP credentials, one or more of your available licenses will be taken up and you will not be able to connect to a stream. If that user is unknown, it is difficult to locate them on my end without a phone number or address.
If you are tech support, please have the person actually operating the equipment set up their own SBC account and watch the videos on the IaRTN homepage. I understand some users do not want to take the time to understand the correction service, but it is important that they understand the limitation of this technology. If they are not willing to set the account up themselves, have them call me and I will happily walk them through the account set up process. After that they can share their NTRIP credentials for the software settings you will need.
The IaRTN is a free service and the registration process is fairly easy. If anyone is charging you to use the IaRTN, please let me know.
